Ridvan Yilmaz has no plans to leave Rangers this summer as his agent has now confirmed.

The defender is enjoying his time at Ibrox and recently explained how his plan was to enjoy his summer before returning to Glasgow to prepare for the new campaign under Philippe Clement. We at Football Scotland also laid out the club's plans for their player as they don't intend on losing the left-back despite reported interest in his services from the likes of Besiktas and Galatasaray in his home country.

The player will remain in Scotland as confirmed by representative Necdet Ergezen who insists a move back to the Super Lig is not on their radar.

He said: "Rıdvan’s career plan is to continue in Europe. There are no plans to return to the Super Lig in the near to medium term."

Yilmaz is believed to be re-energised at Ibrox despite a slow start with new signing Jefte now expected to provide strong competition for the 23-year-old.

Borna Barisic left the club at the expiry of his deal this summer and that leaves left-back there to be fought for.
