Road near A11 to close for £20,000 resurfacing works

A busy junction that leads to the A11 is to close for resurfacing works costing £20,000.

The A134 Brandon Road in Thetford, between Canterbury Way and the A11, will be closed next month for surface dressing work.

The work, which is weather dependent, is to be carried out in phases.

The first closure will be in place on Tuesday, June 6, between 9am and 4pm, with the second stage scheduled for the same time period on Wednesday, June 14.

A diversion route via the A11 and London Road will be in operation while the roadworks take place.

The work, costing £20,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council.
