There seems to be no end to the amount of records that Cristiano Ronaldo can break.
Not content with firing himself to the number one spot in every conceivable all-time football list - whether that be goals, trophies, appearances etc - the Real Madrid superstar is now taking his world domination onto social media sites.
How? Well, following his hat-trick heroics against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, Ronaldo became the first sports star to reach over 100m followers on his official Instagram account - an event that saw Ronaldo thank his fans for their unwavering support:

In reaching the landmark figure, the 31-year-old also became the first male to reach the milestone on the social media giant, and is now only eclipsed by pop sensations Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift in Instagram's greatest number of followers list. To celebrate, here's some of his best-liked images that Ronaldo's posted in recent times:
There really has never been a better time to keep up-to-date with your heroes thanks to the invention of social media, and it seems everyone - who has an interest in football or his physique anyway! - is making the most of following Ronaldo as much as they can.
Not in the flesh, mind you. That wouldn't be creepy at all.
