Ronda Rousey's UFC Return Planned for November or December

While many had held out hope that Ronda Rousey might return in time for a fight with current champion Miesha Tate at UFC 200, that's not going to happen.

UFC president Dana White, however, told TMZ Sports that the former champ is finally in a good head space following her loss to Holly Holm last November, and is on track for a return to the Octagon later this year.

“I just had dinner with her the other night. She's in a great place mentally, physically, emotionally; every way you can be good, she's good,” said White. “And she's talking about coming back at the end of this year.”

White fell short of saying if there were any specific plans for an opponent when Rousey steps back in the Octagon, but it certainly sounds as if the promotion is timing her return so that she might fight in New York, which has finally approved legislation to sanction mixed martial arts in the state.

“She'll either come back in November or December. She's ready. She's ready again to fight.”
