Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opened up about the emotional struggles of acne

When you're struggling with your skin, it's always a comfort to know you aren't the only one. Particularly when someone else that's struggling is a high-profile figure that seems *so* picture-perfect. Keke Palmer, Millie Bobby Brown; it's not that you're wishing troubled skin on anyone, or happy that they have it (serious side eye if you are 👀), it just helps you feel less alone, and less self-critical.

One such picture-perfect high-profile figure is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's often spoken about her struggles with acne over the years, and took to Instagram to explain how it's shaped her brand, Rose Inc.

“Anybody who struggles with acne will know that it’s something that can emotionally affect you on the inside as well as the outside,” wrote Rosie.

With the caption going on to explain: "having a line of clean beauty products is more than a passion project, it’s a personal mission."

She spoke about her own ingredient research, making sure to only try products that are non-comedogenic (ones that won't clog pores). Explaining how this led to her carefully crafted formulas, she said: "As someone who suffers from skin challenges, I know the importance of ingredients that deliver."

The model has been pretty open about her struggles with breakouts. Back in 2019, she told Harper's Bazaar: “Well, on a good day, I would say I probably have just a couple of spots and on a bad day it can be a lot. I’ve always had a little bit of acne and it’s something that my mum had and it’s something that I’m always trying to better, and so I’m quite diligent about my skincare routine.”

Here are just some of the products from her namesake brand that are cosying up to a 5* rating on Sephora.
