While sheer fabrics and cut-outs are perhaps the easiest way to wear it, naked dressing has evolved into various different iterations such as graphic printed styles like the Jean Paul Gaultier design worn by Paris Jackson, and totally backless bottom-baring numbers as modelled by Nelly Furtado recently.
And now, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has entered the chat in yet another fresh take. Sharing photos on Instagram, Rosie could be seen sitting on a bed wearing a white lace long-sleeved catsuit. Opting to go braless beneath the transparent fabric, the model and mother-of-two obliged by the social media platform's no nipple guidelines by layering an oversized black blazer over the top.
She added pointed-toe court shoes and silver interlocking chain hoop earrings to finish the ensemble, while her hair was slicked back into an elegant updo and she repped a subtly smokey eye makeup look.
It turns out, Rosie's catsuit is actually a bodysuit and tights combo from Wardrobe NYC. The brand is the brainchild of longtime couple Australian designer Josh Goot and Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Christine Centenera. Launched in 2017 after they moved to New York, each capsule collection consists of four to eight minimal wardrobe staples that can be styled cohesively and worn season after season.
Rosie was modelling the Lace Bodysuit and Lace Tight from the latest drop. And whether you're brave enough to go braless and give the no trousers look a go, or want to style the lace pieces in your own way, you can shop Rosie's outfit now:
Having modelled everything from Hunza G swimwear to Adanola gym wear, we're pretty sure Rosie would look good in anything. But there's no denying her latest look is unreal. We think Ashley Graham said it best, commenting on the snap, 'whoa!'.
