American sprint supremo Wesley Ward's Golden Pal leads 20 runners for a King's Stand Stakes with an international flavour. The Magnier et al owned four-year-old heads the market for the Group 1 five furlong dash on Tuesday, June 14 but is joined by other overseas raiders. Australian trainer Chris Waller sends Nature Strip from Down Under on the back of a Group 1 win last time out at Randwick in Sydney. This will be a first run in Europe for the seven-year-old gelding who has amassed nearly £10 million in prize money in his career in the Southern Hemisphere.

Meanwhile, a wild card from the Czech Republic could cause an upset at a big price in the form of Ponntos who hacked up in the Prix de Saint-Georges at Paris-Longchamp in mid-May under Frankie Dettori.

Last year's Nunthorpe winner Winter Power will need a renaissance after failing to convince since the York win for Tim Easterby.

The Queen's King's Lynn will look to give Her Majesty an apt win at the Royal meeting after reigniting his career with a game victory in the Temple Stakes at Haydock on May 21.

Henry Candy's talented Twighlight Calls finished second to King's Lynn at Haydock and the Cheveley Park runner was only beaten by a head on Merseyside, with the pair renewing the battle on Tuesday at Ascot.

Charlie Appleby's Man Of Promise could be a solid outsider having won a pair of lucratve sprints over the New Year at Meydan in the UAE. The Into Mischief gelding then finished a reasonable third in the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan and will now return to cooler climbs to have a crack at the King's Stand.

Appleby is also set to run Lazuli in a double pronged attack for Godolphin with the five-year-old Dubawi gelding a winner last time out a Meydan in the Blue Point Sprint over five furlongs.

The 20 confirmations for the King's Stand Stakes at Ascot on Tuesday, June 14 are as follows. 1: Acklam Express 2: Arecibo 3: Equilateral 4: Existent 5: Golden Pal 6: Hurricane Ivor 7: Khaadem 8: King's Lynn 9: Lazuli 10: Logo Hunter 11: Man Of Promise 12: Mondammej 13: Nature Strip 14: Ponntos 15: Saint Lawrence 16: Tis Marvellous 17: Twighlight Calls 18: Mooneista 19: Winter Power 20: Cadamosto
