The 27-year-old Australian sustained the injury during Sunday's 36-6 Super League defeat at Castleford, his first match of the season.

A statement from the Perpignan club on Tuesday said: "The Catalans scrum-half suffered a biceps tendon rupture and will undergo surgery in France tomorrow."

The Dragons, who have lost both their opening games, will also be without full-back or winger Damien Cardace for their first home game of the season against Leeds on Friday night after he picked up an ankle injury against the Tigers.
