Keighley beat Workington to earn their fourth victory of the season

But after building a 28-0 lead it was almost a match that got away from the home side as their Cumbrian visitors came storming back in the second half.

Mark Calderwood marked his 300th career appearance with Workington's fourth try in a 17-minute spell, but it was the last time his side troubled the scorers.

Brendan Rawlins, James Feather and Paul White dotted down for Keighley as they led 24-0 at half-time, and Olly Pursglove added a fourth try in the 45th minute. Scott Leatherbarrow booted 12 points.

But back came mid-table Workington, with Peter Lupton launching the fightback with a 48th-minute try, and he was soon followed over the whitewash by team-mates Karl Olstrum, Elliott Miller and Calderwood, however Keighley clung on to jump three places to 11th, with Barrow sliding to the foot of the table.
