Will Sharp scored a hat-trick of tries in Featherstone's 60-6 win over Barrow

Former London Broncos and Hull winger Will Sharp scored a hat-trick of tries in Featherstone's 60-6 win over Barrow at New Craven Park. Another ex-London player, Lamont Bryan, touched down twice while Rovers' prolific scorer Liam Finn piled up 20 points with a try and eight goals.

Barrow, who drop to the foot of the table, trailed 22-0 before Liam Campbell scored their only try two minutes into the second half.

Back-row forward Ross Divorty scored two of Halifax's six tries in a 35-16 win over Dewsbury at the Tetley's Stadium that keeps them within two points of Sheffield. Ryan Fieldhouse, Wayne Reittie, Andy Bracek and Lee Patterson scored Halifax's other tries and Steve Tyrer kicked five goals.

Dale Morton, Adam O'Brien and Kieran Hyde scored tries for the Rams, with Bobbie Goulding kicking two goals.

Winger Steve Maden scored a try in each half as Leigh gained a 42-20 win over York to consolidate their top-five spot, while Swinton lifted themselves off the bottom of the table with a 36-6 win over fellow relegation candidates Hunslet at the South Leeds Stadium.

Keighley eased their relegation fears with a 34-10 win over Doncaster at Cougar Park. Former Halifax centre James Haley scored a try in each half and player-coach Paul March also got on the scoresheet as the Cougars claimed only their fifth win of the season.

Liam Kay and Carl Hughes scored first-half tries and Stewart Sanderson kicked a goal to keep Doncaster in touch at the break but they conceded 22 points without reply in the second half.

New signing Shaun Briscoe, the former England full-back, could not prevent Workington going down 29-18 to Whitehaven in the Cumbrian derby at the Recreation Ground.

James Cameron, James Newton, Adam Swift, Craig Calvert, Lee Patterson and Carl Sice scored tries as Whitehaven returned to winning ways after back-to-back defeats, while Widnes winger Paddy Flynn scored two tries for the visitors.
