THE ANNUAL Rombalds Stride, a 23-mile challenge in which participants walk or run, takes place on Saturday.

It is organised by the15th Airedale Scout Group.

Starting from and finishing in Guiseley via Esholt, Baildon, Ilkley, Burley Woodhead and Menston, the route takes in Rombalds Moor, Ilkley Moor and Otley Chevin. This is a challenging route over open moorland, with glorious scenery along the way. Let’s hope the sun shines this year.
