Saints defender ruled out for five to six weeks with injury

SAINTS defender Romain Perraud has been ruled out of for up to five to six weeks with a leg fracture, Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed ahead of kick-off versus Liverpool.

The Frenchman will miss each of the last two matches of the 2021-22 Premier League season, but will hope to be back for the St Mary’s outfit’s pre-season exploits.

Saints travel to Leicester City on the final day of the campaign, on Sunday, May 22.

Hasenhuttl said: “We have a few injury problems. Romain Perraud is out for five or six weeks with a fracture in his leg.

“We are going here to try and make it as tough as possible for the Champions League finalists.”
