St Johnstone have been drawn against Turkish side Eskisehirspor in the Europa League second qualifying round.
However, their opponents' participation remains subject to a Court of Arbitration for Sport decision following an appeal by Besiktas over their exclusion from European competition.
The unseeded Perth side are due to be away from home in the first leg on July 19 before the return at McDiarmid Park seven days later.
Although they were listed second in the draw against unnamed Turkish opponents by UEFA, St Johnstone announced the first leg would take place at McDiarmid Park against Eskisehirspor.
Eskisehirspor were admitted to Europe when Besiktas were excluded at the end of May on financial fair play grounds.
Besiktas have appealed against the decision to CAS but the case is not listed to be heard until July 5.
Saints said they were awaiting confirmation of the venue of the second leg and advised fans to hold off making travel plans.
