Saints fans split with reactions to new away kit
SAINTS predicted their new away kit could divide opinion - and it certainly appears that is the case, judging by reaction on social media.
Living up to the marketing mantra of Bold is Brave, the teal, aqua, and gold adorned shirt has arguably split the fanbase, with some Saints supporters still yet to decide where their loyalties lie.
Some are undecided on the colours, whilst others are not sure about the waves designed to represent the Solent.

Saints reveal new home kit for 2022-23 Premier League season
In the announcement of the kit this morning, Saints' Sarah Batters, director of marketing of partnerships, predicted: “We know our fans may be divided on their opinions of the shirt, given the colour choice and the standout pattern, but we look forward to seeing it worn by our fans.”
With two kits now revealed, some fans pitted the away kit against the home kit, which also caused a stir thanks to the fact it deviates from the red and white stripes Saints are famed for.
Here are just a few of the reactions shared by Saints fans on Twitter.
Fair to say I did not expect this… not sure whether I like it or not 😅 #SaintsFC https://t.co/bDS6AEnpQM

Whats all the drama about the new kit? I don't get it! if you wear replica kits and like it, buy it, fair play to you. If you don't like it, don't buy it & finally if you don't buy replica kits anyway, why let it bother you either way? #saintsfc #bebold #bebrave haha

Lots of folk whining about the new #saintsfc away kit, but I love it (unlike the home kit...) pic.twitter.com/6PxkdgqMa8

The one theme I have noticed on this whole love it/hate it debate on the kit…. Is ALOT of the …let’s say slighter older #SaintsFC fanbase members 😬😬…. Seem to really hate it 👀🤔 #SaintsFC

All very Solent-y but an absolute abomination. Since when was Paisley back in fashion?
