Liverpool face RB Salzburg in Austria knowing a defeat will almost certainly send Jurgen Klopp‘s holders tumbling out of the Champions League.

Klopp’s side require a draw to ensure their qualification for the knockout stages after suffering defeat against Napoli at Anfield last month.

Salzburg have been one of the most exciting sides in this year’s competition and pushed Liverpool all the way in the reverse fixture, overcoming a three-goal deficit before Mohamed Salah struck the eventual winner.

In the unlikely event that Genk defeat Napoli, though, Liverpool will qualify regardless of the result.
