Sam Quek is six months pregnant – less than a year after suffering a miscarriage
Olympian and former I’m A Celebrity star Sam Quek is six months pregnant – less than a year after suffering a devastating miscarriage.
The former hockey star has spoken of her delight at the pregnancy, as well as opening up about the heartbreak she and husband Tom Mairs struggled with after losing a baby earlier in the year.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "It’s been quite surreal because we’ve kept it private. Being able to talk about it, it now feels real. I’m really, really excited."

I am delighted to (finally) announce that I am 6 months pregnant 🙂
After a devastating miscarriage earlier this year, I kept the news very private. However I’m now in a place where I can talk about what happened in the hope my experience can help others.https://t.co/cIomVHBXsN— Samantha Quek (@SamanthaQuek) November 16, 2020
Discussing the difficult period, Quek said: "I didn’t want to speak to anyone. I had guilt and shame that it was my fault.
"I was looking back at everything I did during pregnancy and replaying every single minute. I put it all on me and my body. But I never said that to Tom at the time."
She has since spoken of her happiness at the news on social media.
She tweeted her 180,000 followers to say: “I am delighted to (finally) announce that I am 6 months pregnant.
