Sam Twiston-Davies will ride Saphir Du Rheu in the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree.
Twiston-Davies said earlier in the week he had "a few to choose from" in the big race on April 8, but has elected to keep faith with the Paul Nicholls-trained grey.
Saphir Du Rheu is as low as 16-1 about winning the National after he turned in such a solid display when fifth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last Friday.
Twiston-Davies told the Daily Mirror: "He got into a lovely jumping rhythm in the Gold Cup and looks a well-handicapped horse.
"He's got form round the Grade One tracks and he jumped from fence to fence the day he won at Aintree.
"Vicente usually finds his form in the spring, and we know he stays four miles from his Scottish National win, but it will be hard to get off Saphir Du Rheu."
