Isle of Wight drivers are feeling the need for speed this weekend, with the return of the Sandown Sprint time trial event.

Nearly 100 vehicles are taking part, over two days.

The Isle of Wight Car Club are behind it, with last year’s fastest driver overall, Will Nicholls, back to defend his crown, while his closest rival, Damien Bradley, has also returned.

When the action returns tomorrow (Sunday), for its second day, you can watch it live on a webcam, courtesy of IsleofWight.com.

We want your photos and video of the 2023 Sandown Sprint

The Isle of Wight Car Club has been running motor sport events on the Island since the 1950s.

This one is supported by mainland officials and marshals from Motorsport UK and other southern motor clubs.

Last year's inaugural event proved very successful.
