Former Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez has confirmed he has received some offers to leave Malaga following recent reports linking him with Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal and Sevilla. The U-21 Spanish international added that he is currently focused in his current side but revealed that his dream will be to return to the Nou Camp at some point.
Sandro moved to Malaga as a free agent during the last summer transfer window after failing to secure regular time at Barcelona due to the presence of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the Catalans' attack.
The 21-year-old has since proven to be one of the sensations of La Liga, having scored 14 goals in 27 appearances at La Rosaleda, including two in Malaga's 2-0 win over Granada on Tuesday night (25 April).
Earlier this week Sport reported that Tottenham, Sevilla and Villarreal had been attracted by his impressive campaign at Malaga and are considering to make a future to secure his services in the coming summer transfer window.
Tottenham were already linked with the Spaniard during his time at Barcelona and the report added that Mauricio Pochettino s side could be now tempted to make a move ahead of the 2017-2018 season after discovering that he had a bargain €6m (£5.1m, $6.5m) release clause in his contract at Malaga.
Sandro has now confirmed to Cadena Cope that he has received some approaches to leave Malaga, but failed to reveal the clubs who are interested.
"I have a €6m release clause. I have some (offers) but I don't think about them now because I am very focused on Malaga," he said.
Cope says that three Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation while Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is likely to lure him to the Vicente Calderon.
Asked whether Atletico are one of the clubs who have made an offer to sign him, Sandro added: "I keep the offers form me. I don't know. I honestly do not know. I'm focused on Malaga, I want to finish the season well to continue to the good streak and score more goals."
Sandro, meanwhile, said that he doesn't regret his decision to leave Barcelona but admitted that he would love to return to the Catalan side in the future. "Barcelona is a special club for me. They gave me everything. They will be in me heart forever. I want to continue growing and improving so that someday I can go back to Barcelona," he admitted.
"When I decided to leave Barcelona I thought it was the best and I continue to think so. I'm doing well, I do not regret anything. It is clear that when you are in the best team in the world it is very difficult to have minutes but I do not regret it. I think I made the right decision."
Sandro was criticised by some Barcelona fans after he helped Malaga to secure a surprising 2-0 win over the Catalans by scoring a goal. That defeat meant a big blow for Barcelona in their hope to beat Real Madrid to the La Liga title.
However, Sandro expects to compensate his former side by scoring a goal against Real Madrid when Los Blancos visit Malaga in the last game of La Liga on 21 May.
"I hope that Real Madrid will still be fighting with Barcelona for the title and we can beat them, so Barcelona, my team, will win La Liga."
