'I saw it' - Thomas Partey sends title warning to Liverpool as Arsenal outlined
Arsenal star Thomas Partey has explained how the club is remaining focused on their own job in the Premier League title race.
The Gunners lost ground on leaders Liverpool at the weekend after being held to a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa. Arsenal are now six points behind the Merseyside club, who have a game in hand, after they beat Brentford just hours before Arsenal's draw with Villa.
Mikel Arteta's side have 16 Premier League fixtures remaining this season to try and leapfrog Liverpool in the title race. Other clubs such as Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Newcastle and Chelsea may also have ambitions of winning the title in May.

Partey has explained he and his teammates remain determined to win the title this season, despite the six-point gap with leaders Liverpool. The Arsenal midfielder went on to emphasise that, despite competing with other clubs for the trophy, he remains focused on the task at hand for the Gunners.
“You want to be at the top so you continue to look at people at the top but the main focus is always to believe in ourselves, try to do things better, focus and win our games," said Partey via The Mirror.

“I think there a lot of teams chasing the title and we have to focus on ourselves and win our games.”
Arsenal would have been hoping that Liverpool would drop points against Brentford, with the scoreline at the Gtech Community Stadium goalless going into stoppage time. Two goals from Darwin Nunez won the game for the Merseyside club, less than an hour before Arsenal kicked off against Villa.
“I saw it [Liverpool's win over Brentford] after but every individual is free to watch games or focus on any game which is being played," said Partey. "But at the end of the day, we want to continue to dominate games and try to win our games.
“I’m proud of the team, everybody is proud of each other because we are doing a really great job and dominating a lot of teams. Every game that we play, we play consistently, we keep our consistency and at the end of the day we will get our results.”
