Scotland vs Finland team news confirmed as Steve Clarke opts for familiar lineup

Steve Clarke has picked his final Scotland starting XI before Euro 2024 kicks off next week.

Clarke's charges welcome Finland to Hampden this evening just one week removed from what is to be a spectacle at the tournament with the Scots opening against hosts Germany in Munich. It will be a monumental evening where the head coach will look to have his strongest side possible on the pitch against Julian Nagelsmann's giants.

As for this evening, it's a slightly different kettle of fish but still a fixture the Tartan Army will be desperate to see maximum effort culminate in a strong victory. Clarke promised we'd see a more familiar lineup and that's what we've got.

Finland XI: Joronen, Vaisanen, Peltola, Lod, Pukki, Maenpaa, Hosjonent, Ollila, Pohjanpalo, Niskanen, Terho

Subs: Hradecky, Jensen, Ivanov, Soiri, Tehno, Antman, Kallman, Galvez, Sinisalo, Walta, Talvitie, Nissila
