Your Grand Prix Weekend with F1 TV

The show starts on Thursday with a new look Weekend Warm Up, where news and insider gossip is shared from the paddock via the F1 TV presenting team of Will Buxton, Laura Winter, Laurence Barretto and Rosanna Tennant.

This season’s grid reshuffle means there are new faces on track we need to get to know: American rookie Logan Sargeant has joined Williams; Nyck de Vries, who impressed on his one-off appearance at Monza last year, has been snapped up by Alpha Tauri; and Oscar Piastri will race for McLaren after a tug-of-war over his services.

Plus we’ll want to keep a close eye on how Fernando Alonso gets on at Aston Martin, Nico Hulkenberg at Haas, and the all-French pairing of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, who fought each other hard in karts and now find themselves under the same roof at Alpine.

Friday: Setting up the cars and analysing the running

Friday coverage is focused on Free Practice 1 and 2. Alex Jacques leads the commentary team with IndyCar racer James Hinchcliffe and in select races F1 Ambassador David Coulthard. F1 TV guides you through the key stories with driver analysis from Jolyon Palmer and engineering insights from Sam Collins including Tech Talk.

F1 Fantasy players take note of Friday performances and interviews to see who’s looking hot and who’s not before you make your transfers for the weekend.

Saturday: Qualifying knockout and live timings

Saturday is all about qualifying, and in Bahrain this’ll be the first real indicator of comparative performance. Last year’s top pole scorer was Charles Leclerc. Will Ferrari power still have the edge on Red Bull on Saturdays?

F1 TV’s live timing and on-board cameras of every driver means fans can arrange their own screen set ups, perhaps with the timing screen and driver tracker on their phone and the director’s cut on the big screen.

Plus, live and unedited radio means you’ll know who’s got problems and who’s got the hump at the same time their engineer does. With a three-way title fight in the offing, you’ll want all the bases covered.

Sunday: Big screen spectacle, the Grand Prix

Sunday’s race coverage starts with F1 TV’s exclusive pre-race show, where you get all the latest interviews and the grid walk before the Grand Prix. Each race has its own character and challenges, and you’ll be able to watch it from an unprecedented number of vantage points. After the main event comes the post-race show with reactions from all the main players, a sprinkling of celebrities and behind-the-scenes gurus.

F1 TV can stream across web, apps, Apple Airplay and Chromecast, Apple TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku, meaning we’ve got your personal set-up covered. It’s live, ad-free and on demand, with commentary in various languages, whenever you’re ready to take to the track.

There’s never been so much buzz going into an F1 season. Max Verstappen is the man to beat, but Hamilton and Leclerc are committed to doing so.

The drivers can only control their own race, but you can control your whole viewing experience. Get ready to get the most from the Grand Prix weekend!
