A leaked image claiming to reveal the badge of David Beckham’s new Major League Soccer team is circulating online.

The former England captain is setting up his own franchise in Miami but has been struggling to make his dream become a reality.

He has encountered problems with the location for the club’s stadium and those look to have been overcome with the development of an area to be called Freedom Park.

But with so many things left to be decide, including who will be pulling on the shirt, it seems the venture has gathered pace with the branding of the new club.

Two flamingos adorn the new badge, which has been submitted to the US Trademark and Patent Office, with a pink colour scheme that adopts a Miami Vice colour scheme.

The pair of birds face each other to create an M while 2020 is written in Roman numerals, hinting that could be the year the side is entered into the MLS.

If Beckham does decide to go ahead with the leaked design, perhaps Miami’s kit will be pink to align with the badge as this tends to be the way clubs across the world operate.
