Selena Gomez’s Barbiecore Power Suit Is The Ultimate Workwear Inspiration

This is corporate Barbie.

Between producing and starring in hit television shows, dropping new music, and sharing her go-to acne-banishing products, Selena Gomez is having a busy week, every week. Though she’s already started off the work week on a high note (au natural), the A-lister is back to her daunting to-do list — and she's got the girl-boss-approved outfit to prove it.

On Tuesday, the singer-slash-actress arrived at the Music + Health Summit presented by Universal Music Group and Thrive Global in West Hollywood suited and booted in a power suit with a flirty twist. For the conference, she kept Barbiecore alive by sporting a saturated hot pink suit consisting of an oversized blazer layered over a plunging corset top and paired with high-waisted pleated trousers. She teamed the pink look with a pair of black pointed-toe Betsey Johnson heels adorned with colorful sequined flowers, and she also added a diamond choker necklace and coordinating hoop earrings.

Her beauty vibe included a slicked-back bun parted down the middle with a dewy complexion, smokey eyes, feathered lashes, and dark pink lips.

Selena holds many titles in her life: a beauty mogul, a mental health advocate, and the most followed woman on Instagram with 429 million followers. But her social media success was never something she “really cared about.”

“It can be a little heavy,” she shared at the conference. “I feel for people, and I think that’s what kind of keeps me in check, to be honest. I think I can be a little reckless with my emotions and having conversations with young people, and women who are going through divorces or going through chemo — it’s not just about me, and I’m fully aware of that. I will just always cherish it. It’s a big responsibility, though. It’s a little scary.”
