Record-breaking tennis player Serena Williams caused confusion on Wednesday when a Snapchat post prompted reports she was pregnant.
The American shared an image of herself in a skin-hugging yellow top, posing to accentuate her figure, accompanied by the ambiguous caption: "20 weeks".

Widespread reports followed, on the assumption the 35-year-old was pregnant with her first child, but Williams subsequently deleted the post.
Women's tennis governing body the WTA congratulated Williams via its official Twitter account but deleted the tweet within minutes.
Williams announced her engagement to Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, in December. No date has yet been announced for their wedding.
The "20 weeks" timeline would mean Williams was pregnant when she won the Australian Open title in January. She recently pulled out of marquee WTA Tour events in Indian Wells and Miami, citing a knee injury.
