Allegri-Seedorf decision Monday?

The issue of the Rossoneri job continues to drag on, as Vice-President Adriano Galliani is still desperately trying to convince Berlusconi that Allegri should be given another year.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting has been set up between the three men at Berlusconi’s villa in Arcore on Monday.

At the same time, Roma are also waiting for news, as they are eager to lock down Allegri to a three-year contract.

The Milan fans have weighed in to support Allegri, placing a banner outside the training ground that read: ‘Seedorf - no thanks.’

The midfielder, who has not yet retired from his playing career in Brazil and has no management experience, has emerged as the hot favourite to take over at San Siro.

“I don’t think he’s going to Milan,” noted Botafogo Coach Oswaldo de Oliveira.

“I often speak to Seedorf and he is a good guy who I respect. I think he has settled in well in Rio de Janeiro, especially as his wife Luviana is from here. I don’t see why he should leave.”
