Frenchman Di Maio, 25, is out of contract with the Serie B side this June and says he has been offered a contract by the Serie A strugglers.
“Genoa have made me an interesting offer,” the former Nancy trainee – who has spent his entire senior career at Brescia – told Il SecoloXIX.
“We’re evaluating it. We’ll see how things develop and I hope it is made official soon.”
De Maio has only recently become a first-team regular at Brescia, having spent time on loan at Celano and Frosinone in Italy’s lower divisions.
