Italian Football Federation prosecutor Stefano Palazzi has today deferred numerous individuals for offences relating to Bari 0-1 Treviso in May 2008 and Salernitana 3-2 Bari from May 2009.
The 34-year-old Gillet, who was the Bari goalkeeper at the time, could face a five-year ban if found guilty.
Inter and Italy defender Andrea Ranocchia was also on the radar of Palazzi, but he will face no charges. The same applies to former Bari boss Antonio Conte – now at Juventus.
