“It is nice to know that Hernanes is liked, but we like him more than anybody else,” President Claudio Lotito told Il Messagero.
“We have no intention of selling him. Hernanes can not be touched because he is an integral part of the project here.”
The midfielder, currently on Confederations Cup duty, moved to the capital side in 2010 from Sao Paulo for a fee in the region of €12m (£10.2m).
The 28-year-old scored 11 goals in 34 League games for the Biancocelesti in 2012-13.
