For most of the month the two clubs have been in negotiations for the highly-rated defender following his decision to not renew his contract in Turin beyond this summer, and the Nerazzurri have now confirmed his arrival on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
“Danilo D'Ambrosio is now an Inter player,” the club have reported in a statement released on their official website.
“The relevant documentation was submitted to the Serie A offices this morning, confirming the defender's move from Torino to the Nerazzurri.
“The Neapolitan, 25, has signed a deal until 30 June 2018.”
