The capital captain was placed under investigation amid claims that the results of Lazio-Genoa from May 14, 2011, and Lecce-Lazio, from May 22, 2011, were pre-arranged.
FIGC prosecutor Stefano Palazzi had called for the Italian international to be suspended for four years and six months for his alleged involvement in the scandal.
Palazzi had also asked for Lazio, Genoa and Lecce to be handed point deductions going into the 2013-14 campaign.
Lazio, however, were fined €40,000 (£26,400) instead.
Alessandro Zamperini has been suspended for two years.
Omar Milanetto, Massimiliano Benassi and Antonio Rosati were cleared of any wrongdoing.
