Shane Bond Will Be An Extra Set Of Hands Especially Around The Bowlers: New Zealand Head Coach Gary Stead

New Zealand’s head coach Gary Stead mentioned in an official statement that since Shane Bond will be assisting Mumbai Indians during IPL 2021 in UAE, his analysis will be beneficial since ICC T20I World Cup 2021 is also scheduled at the same venue.

“Shane’s been in our environment before and understands what we’re about. Being in the UAE (with the IPL) immediately prior to the world cup … he’ll hopefully bring some tactical insight into what’s been happening in the competition,” Gary Stead said in an official release.

“He’ll be an extra set of hands especially around the bowlers, working with the spin and the pace bowlers and developing their plans in a tournament that moves pretty quick – so we need to be one step ahead of other teams,” Stead further said.
