The third big game-changing moment according to Brad Hogg was the wicket of Ollie Pope picked by Shardul Thakur. Notably, Ollie Pope was looking in sensational form in the first innings as he scored 81 runs, however in the 77th over Thakur dismissed him which caused big trouble for England. The 4th game changer was breaking the opening century partnership of England openers in the second innings. Notably, Haseeb Hameed and Rory Burns were batting amazingly well on the good batting surface while chasing the target. However, Shardul Thakur came and dismissed Rory Burns in 41st over.

The last big game-changing moment pinpointed by Brad Hogg was the dismissal of England captain Joe Root in England’s second innings. Notably, Joe Root has been in a red hot form lately and his wicket was the most important one for the Indian team. Brad Hogg wrote:

“57 in the 1st inns when the wicket was toughest. Fifty in the 2nd inns. Pope’s wicket preventing a bigger 1st inns lead for England. Breaking the 100 run opening p’ship. Dismissing Root in the 2nd inns. Thakur the Man of the Match easily. 5 big game-changing moments.”
