Several key players have returned to Hull KR’s 20-man squad for their upcoming clash against Toulouse on Thursday at Craven Park, including skipper Shaun Kenny-Dowall.
Kenny-Dowall, 34, has been named for the first time since Round 19. The centre left the field in the 15-10 victory over Wakefield with a neck injury.
He was sent to hospital after leaving the field in the first half. However, he has been named by interim boss Danny McGuire for this Thursday’s Super League clash.
Meanwhile, Ireland international Frankie Halton has also been named for his return. The 26-year-old left the field just seven minutes into the Magic Weekend derby clash against rivals Hull. It was first feared that the back-rower had suffered a fractured collarbone. However, scans revealed positive news and he could make his return against the French outfit.
Matty Storton and Jimmy Keinhorst have also both been named. The side are without Lachlan Coote after failing a head injury assessment in the defeat to Wigan last week. McGuire also all but confirmed a season-ending injury to Will Dagger with a ruptured achilles.
The Robins are also still without Albert Vete. Meanwhile, Sam Royle has been recalled from his loan by St Helens.
Toulouse without five through injuries
Toulouse will travel without five players due to injuries for the crucial Super League clash. Sylvain Houles’ side returned to the bottom of the table following their home defeat to Hull FC, while Wakefield picked up a win over Castleford.
Joseph Paulo, Ilias Bergal, Andrew Dixon, Lloyd White and Guy Armitage all miss out. However, the side do welcome back key forward Daniel Alvaro, who returns from suspension.
