Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest online shopping days of the year and we are gearing up to get you all of the best deals available. But if you’re new to the online event, there are a few things you should know. Keep reading for the inside scoop on how you can shop this year’s Amazon Prime Day!

When is Prime Day 2020?

Prime Day this year will be a two-day event held on October 13th and October 14th. Typically held in July, this is one of the latest Prime Days to date — but we’re guessing it’s going to make holiday shopping even easier.

Who can shop Prime Day?

You have to be an Amazon Prime member to shop all of the amazing deals. But don’t worry, signing up is super easy and you can test out a free trial for 30 days right now. Click here to sign up.

When you’re a Prime member, you won’t only get to shop exclusive deals on Prime Day, you’ll also get fast and free delivery on millions of items (with some items available for same-day delivery!), be able to enjoy unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows on Prime Video, get unlimited and ad-free access to Prime Music, take advantage of exclusive savings at Whole Foods and so much more. Check out all of the benefits of being a Prime member here.

What deals can I expect?

To kick off your holiday shopping, Prime Day will have access on over one million deals globally from top brands including Panasonic, Keurig, Under Armour, Coleman, Simple Joys by Carter’s, adidas, Lacoste, Marvel, and many more.

Starting on Sept. 28, Prime members can snag an early deal and get two Echo Dot devices for just $39.98.

How can I support small businesses on Prime Day?

This year, Amazon is working hard to further its commitment of helping small business during COVID-19. “Amazon is investing more than $100 million throughout the holiday season on new promotional activities to help small businesses around the world and enabling hundreds of thousands of smaller companies to sustain and even grow their sales despite the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

Is there anything else that I should know?

Just a few shopping tips!

  • To make the most of Prime Day, you can share your Prime benefits (like shopping Prime Day) with your family by creating a “household” for your account for free.

  • Shop with Alexa: Prime members can discover deals by asking “Alexa, what are my Prime Day deals?” Plus, starting today, new members who sign up for Prime using an Echo device will receive a $5 Amazon credit. Just say, “Alexa, sign me up for Prime.”

  • Keep an eye out for new products that launch on Prime Day just for Prime members and watch for the blue badge that says “PRIME DAY DEAL” to make sure you’re shopping the best sales.
