The search is on to find Hull City's next manager after owner Acun Ilicali decided to ring the changes. A 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday signalled the end of Tim Walter's brief spell in charge of the Tigers, with the club now on the hunt for his replacement.

After last season's near miss, City fans were hopeful their side would push on under Walter and mount a bid of the play-offs, but they have not been able to find the form they displayed last term under Liam Rosenior.
