Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson has completed his move to Wolves

Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson has put the finishing touches to his switch to Wolves.

Wanderers agreed a deal to sign the Iceland international striker last month and the 21-year-old has now finally sealed the move, putting pen to paper on a four-year contract from Lillestrom for an undisclosed fee reportedly in the region of £2.4million.

The month-long wait comes after the forward was committed to play for Lillestrom in their three subsequent Norwegian Premier League matches.

Sigurdarson - half brother of Joey Gudjonsson, who enjoyed a season-long loan spell with Wolves in 2003/04 - was regarded as one the brightest young talents in Norwegian football and has now embarked with his new team-mates on their pre-season training camp in Ireland.

Meanwhile, Wolves are understood to be closing in on the capture of Real Sociedad and Norway international centre-back Vadim Demidov.
