Chelsea will be looking to make it three wins in a row in the Premier League later today when they host Brighton & Hove Albion.

It seems that Chelsea are starting to find their stride this season, with the Blues starting to impress in recent weeks. Back-to-back wins and clean sheets against Bournemouth and West Ham in the Premier League were followed by a 5-0 thumping of Barrow in the Carabao Cup third round, with a clash against Brighton up next.

After going five games without a win against Brighton, the tide turned last season, with the Blues winning three times against the Seagulls across all competitions. Romeo Lavia is fit once again for Enzo Maresca's side, while Reece James remains on the sidelines.

So, can Chelsea make it four wins on the trot in all competitions? Let's take a look.

We simulated Chelsea vs Brighton to get a score prediction

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries, suspensions and transfers.

We predict that Chelsea could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Enzo; Madueke, Palmer, Sancho; Jackson.

We predict that the Seagulls could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Verbruggen; Veltman, Van de Hecke, Dunk, Estupinan; Wieffer, Baleba; Minteh, Rutter, Mitoma; Welbeck.

Chelsea were bright in the early stages at Stamford Bridge, and they took the lead 11 minutes in when Jadon Sancho cut in from the left, skipped past two Brighton defenders in the box, and drilled a low strike into the bottom corner, wrong-footing the 'keeper who anticipated a shot into the far corner. Just nine minutes later, the Blues found a second, with Maresca's side in full control.

Nicolas Jackson drifted out to the right to meet a long ball forward, and after carrying the ball down the wing, he picked out the run of Cole Palmer through the middle. With no Brighton player managing to track the Englishman, Palmer entered the box untroubled, and he rifled his shot past the 'keeper at his near post to double the lead.

Just before half-time, Jackson continued his fine goalscoring form as he added a third of the half for Chelsea, with the striker ghosting ahead of Lewis Dunk at the near post to head Noni Madueke's cross into the roof of the net. Brighton looked better in the second half, and they took advantage of some early possession when Danny Welbeck fired home with a wonderful strike from outside the box.

With a healthy lead, Chelsea were able to see out the win in the second half in what was a big Premier League victory once again.
