Sissoko arrested after driving row

Paris Saint Germain midfielder Momo Sissoko has been arrested after losing his temper with police following a traffic incident.

The Mali international, who has played for Liverpool and Juventus, was stopped while driving his 4x4 car on Rue de Rivoli in central Paris and found to be using incorrect documents.

It was reported by AFP that he was using his British driving license, and that the paperwork contained a number of irregularities that required verification.

During the stop, it became apparent that he had been stopped for driving offences before. The 27-year-old then became agitated, insulting officers and refusing to cooperate further.

He was then taken into custody, without the use of handcuffs.
