Six players fined following Round Four of Super League but no bans

The Rugby Football League’s match review panel has fined six players following Round Four of Super League, but there are no bans this week.

Catalans Dragons forward Manu Ma’u has been fined £250 after being charged for a Grade B strike in their 18-10 win at Wigan on Thursday night.

The former Tonga international was sin-binned for the incident on Wigan half-back Cade Cust. Ma’u scored two tries in the Dragons’ first win at the DW Stadium since 2011.

Leeds forward Cameron Smith has been fined £250 for a Grade B dangerous contact in their 26-0 win over Wakefield on Friday night.

Hull have had two players fined £250 following their 60-14 defeat to Salford on Saturday. Josh Griffin was charged with a Grade B trip, with his team-mate Jack Brown receiving a Grade B dangerous throw.

Castleford forward Joe Westerman has received a £250 fine for a Grade B dangerous contact in their 36-6 defeat at Huddersfield on Friday night.

Warrington forward Ben Currie has been charged with a Grade B dangerous contact and faces a £250 fine after their 18-10 win at Hull KR.

Hull KR’s Tom Opacic has been charged with a Grade A dangerous contact from the same game. However, the centre has not bee fined.

St Helens prop Matty Lees was handed a caution for dangerous contact in their 20-12 loss at Leigh.

  • Matty Lees (St Helens) – Dangerous Contact
