Austria's Andreas Kofler topped qualification for the ski-flying World Championship in Vikersund.

Kofler, currently third in the World Cup standings but only 17th in the flying standings, jumped 221.0m which was 0.5m behind second placed Rune Velta but style points saw him finish ahead of the Norwegian (220.3 points to 216.2).

Another Norweigan, Anders Fannemel, was third with 202.8 points.

The Top 10 in Ski Flying standings are automatically qualified for Friday's event.
