Williams, an entertainment lawyer, has worked in business affairs at Amazon Studios, UTA, Endemol Shine North America and the former Viacom (Comedy Central and BET Networks).

The move comes as the studio revs up after the release of its first feature, Air. Skydance Sports has partnered with the NFL and NFL Films to expand in multi-platform programming with initial doc projects NFL Draft: The Pick Is In for The Roku Channel and Kelce for Prime Video, and an upcoming series chronicling Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the Cowboys franchise.

“As our momentum grows, these key executive appointments will play a vital role as we continue building the world’s preeminent sports content studio,” said Skydance Sports head Jason Reed, who joined the division of David Ellison’s Skydance Media last year. “I am thrilled to announce Ashley’s well-deserved promotion, and welcome Marjorie to the Skydance Sports team.”

Nendick will now oversee all finance and accounting operations across the sports division with a role in the division’s strategic development and upcoming projects including premium scripted and unscripted sports-related content, documentaries, and events.

Williams will head all business and legal affairs related to film, television and documentaries development, production and distribution for the division and focus on operations for Skydance Sports.
