Slade to begin O's inquest

Russell Slade

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has insisted a thorough examination of a disappointing season will begin this summer.

The O's npower League One status was preserved on Saturday despite suffering a 2-1 defeat in their final away game of the campaign. And Slade has said no stone will be left unturned in order to enjoy a more successful campaign next time round.

"It has been a really tough season I have to say, from start to finish to be honest. It is probably the toughest season I have had in many ways for a lot of reasons," he told the Chingford Guardian.

"Obviously we will review the season and that will start almost immediately to be honest.

"We will sit down and we won't leave anything to chance. We will turn over every stone and look to improve and build for next season.

"We will take our time so we don't make any mistakes, so we know where we are and we have got a clear view and we can start in a positive manner."
