Maltais returned to winnings ways after finishing second and 13th following victory at the opening two rounds of the season while Pullin recorded his first triumph on the season in Switzerland. Olympic bronze medallist from 2006 Maltais won the six-strong big final with Michela Moioli of Italy claiming second place before another Canadian in Maelle Ricker in third. Britain's Zoe Gillings was ninth in the small final while Australian Pullin won a men's final which involved three Italians in Emanuel Perathoner, Tommaso Leoni and Omar Visintin. However none of them finished in the top three as two-time world champion Pullin took victory ahead of American Nate Holland while Lucas Eguibar of Spain finished in third place. Maltais took her points tally in the overall ladies' snowboard cross standings to 4000 with her lead over Nelly Moenne Loccoz, who was fifth in the big final, now 1290. Pullin meanwhile has 3550 points to his name with the gap between him and Markus Schairer, 21st overall in Arose, 1150 points with two rounds of the season remaining.
