Soccer: Guard remain undefeated after 8-1 triumph over Coram Deo

Feb. 13—BULLARD — It was business as usual Tuesday night for the Brook Hill Guard soccer team.

The Guard slammed Coram Deo, 8-1, to move to 16-0-3, 12-0.

Alejandro Martinez racked up four goals and an assist to spur the Orange and White to victory.

Mio Engqvist chipped in a pair of scores to compliment an assist while Marlon Rataj scored a goal and tallied two assists.

Scoring the Guard's remaining goal was Kamsi Amaonwu.

Matthew Yim and Joash Kondru had an assist each for the winners.

Protecting the net for Brook Hill were Christian Paus (5 saves) and Luke Visser (3 saves, 1 goal allowed).

Conference play is slated to continue at 7 p.m. Thursday when the Guard travel to Lakehill Prep.
