Sochi 2014 Medal Count: Where to Find Real-Time Update [CHART]

The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics have seen Canada take the lead in the medal count with three gold, three silver and one bronze so far in the competition.

Netherlands have also bagged three gold medals while hosts Russia got one. 

The official website of Sochi Winter Olympics shows the ranking of the country depending on the number of gold medals won in the competition.

Should there be a tie between two nations in terms of the number of gold medals won, the team with the higher number of silver medals gets ranked ahead. If both gold and silver medals are same, the number of bronze medals comes into the picture.

In the initial stages of Sochi Olympics, Canada and Netherlands are neck-to-neck in terms of the number of gold medals. Norway have joined the two nations when it comes to the total number of medals won so far in the competition.

As of Tuesday 6am GMT, Canada are leading the race.

Jenny Jones of Britain won the bronze medal at the snowboarding slopestyle final on Sunday. It is also Britain's only medal in Sochi Winter Olympics so far.
