Social Zone: Fans blame Gareth Southgate as England edge towards Nations League relegation

Once a hero of the nation, Southgate has now been anathematized by a large section of England's fan base after suffering the worst home defeat in decades.
The Three Lions completely collapsed in Wolverhampton as Hungary ran riot and picked up their biggest away win over England since the 'Match of the Century' back in 1953.
Question is, does Southgate have enough credit in the bank to survive the backlash from the defeat? After all, this was just a Nations League fixture - the same competition which was branded as boring and pointless by those same supporters.
'You don't know what you're doing,' the England fans chant at Gareth Southgate.

Perhaps the issue lies elsewhere. According to some, England lost the match because they took a knee before kick-off.
Personally, I don't know how kneeling can impact formation, team selection, strategy, tactics and performance. But then again, these people are working on a whole new level of intelligence.
Southgate needs to go. But our PC media tied itself to his mast so hard after taking the knee to BLM, they cannot even criticise him. He’s a walking spreadsheet, time to go, this is utterly dreadful

There is another possible explanation, though.
Perhaps it is Southgate who is the one working on a whole new level, and has masterminded the result in order to strengthen Jordan Pickford's position as England's number one and get the Arsenal fans off his back.
Let's face it, it's the only plausible answer.

Another issue the Three Lions must tackle is their inability to score goals.
England found the back of the net just once during this international break, with Harry Kane converting a late penalty against Germany.
Clearly, the English need to look across the Irish sea for inspiration. Check this out from Nathan Collins…
UNBELIEVABLE from Nathan Collins! 😱😱

Ok, that's enough football for one social zone. We'll end with this incredible fluke from the World Cup of Pool.
Couldn't play that again if you stood over that 100 times! Spain lead Australia 5-0.#WorldCupofPool pic.twitter.com/qimFOEbPZD
