Real Madrid's Champions League clash with Manchester City certainly lived up to the hype, as the seven-goal thriller provided more questions than answers.
The second leg could prove to be just as intense as Carlo Ancelotti's side look to overturn their one-goal deficit at the caldron that is the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real may have come up short in the first leg of their semi-final, but all the talk since has been about one man in particular, Karim Benzema.
Here's why…
Yep, of course. ❄️
Of course Benzema delivered a panenka in a Champions League semi-final 😵
This game really has it all! It's now 4-3! #UCL pic.twitter.com/TMkdfmveuC— Football on BT Sport (@btsportfootball) April 26, 2022
Don't know what Lee Hendrie is more excited about - the Panenka or the 'salt and vinegar' line. Let's be honest, both were equally impressive.
"I might have to ask Ederson if he wants some salt and vinegar on that chip" 😂
Karim Benzema makes it 4-3 with an audacious panenka! 🤯 pic.twitter.com/TFV4osa88u— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) April 26, 2022
Benzema's double at the Etihad means he has now scored 41 goals in 41 games. Unsurprisingly, that stat has got many people talking about the Ballon D'Or - including Mesut Ozil.
I wouldn't get my hopes up, though. Robert Lewandowski scored 48 last season and still missed out because Lionel Messi had one or two half-decent games for Argentina.
What a fantastic game 🤯 Give my boy Benzi the Ballon D'Or 👑☝🏼 #MCIRMA @Benzema @ChampionsLeague

Moving on, there's been a lot of talk about Elon Musk using his wealth to purchase Twitter. Many argue that he could have used the $44billion to help battle starvation across the world or try and tackle poverty. If he's really ambitious, he could try and sponsor the Bradford City women's team for the next three megaannums.
🤝| To put things into context, Elon Musk could have sponsored our entire squad of players for the next 3 million seasons at £350 each!
If you or your company would like to sponsor one of our players, watch out for our 2022-23 sponsorship package launching soon.#BCAFCWomen pic.twitter.com/yXkk8nQBp2— Bradford City AFC Women (@bcafc_women) April 26, 2022
We end social zone with what some may call a 'fluke' from Mark Williams at the World Snooker Championship. If you ask him though, it was all precisely calculated!
It went
here
there
and
𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄! 😱
