Neil Warnock just couldn't resist responding to Djed Spence, could he? The full back was sent out on loan to Nottingham Forest from Middlesbrough at the start of the season by Neil Warnock. Spence tweeted Warnock - who recently created a Twitter account - and said "Oh, Where's my Manners! Welcome to Twitter @warnockofficial." Not one to be outdone, the former Sheffield United boss replied in classic Warnock fashion and we love it.

Liverpool may be celebrating their season with a city parade following their domestic double success but it doesn't hide the fact they missed out on the two biggest trophies.

The Reds missed out on Premier League glory by one point before losing to Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League.

Mohamed Salah had been vocal during the build-up of the final, admitting he wanted 'revenge' for their 3-1 defeat to Madrid in 2018.

Salah was unable to inspire Liverpool though with Vinicius Junior scoring the only goal to give Madrid a 14th European Cup.

Thierry Henry gave a ruthless assessment of Salah's pre-match comments.

Steven Gerrard is already planning for next season after making some impressive signings for Aston Villa. Boubacar Kamara, Philippe Coutinho and Diego Carlos have all arrived at Villa Park but there is one person who will be departing this summer. And that is his assistant manager Michael Beale. Despite hoping he would remain at the club, he is expected to take up the current vacancy at Queens Park Rangers.

Gareth Bale will be leaving Real Madrid this summer, and he leaves having won a fifth European Cup at the club - although he barely featured in the competition. Despite often being jeered in his last few years at Los Blancos, the fans applauded him as Madrid celebrated their success this season at the Bernabeu.

Wales boss Robert Page is glad that fans showed some 'class' by celebrating the Welshman's achievements at Real. And when you look at what he has won, you can see why.
