Stale Solbakken is due to renew hostilities with Chelsea

Stale Solbakken is relishing the chance to face Chelsea again after Wolves were drawn against the European champions in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

The Norwegian manager guided FC Copenhagen to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge in the last 16 of the Champions League in 2011, although a first-leg victory in Denmark was enough to see the Blues progress to the quarter-finals.

The 44-year-old told his club's website: "We could have been a bit luckier with the draw but it is a cup competition and this happens. Last time I was there with Copenhagen we drew 0-0 so maybe we can do that and win on penalties. It is one to look forward to but we have a few games to go before that. We will have nothing to lose in that game and everything is possible."

Liverpool were the last team to lift the cup at Wembley with victory over Cardiff in February, and the Reds begin their defence with a trip to West Brom. Baggies boss Steve Clarke was assistant manager to Kenny Dalglish as the Merseyside club won the competition for the first time since 2003.

Manchester United also face top-flight opposition at home to Newcastle, while Manchester City host Aston Villa and Arsenal are at home to Coventry.

Tottenham make the long trip to Brunton Park to take on Carlisle, while Everton cross the Pennines to face Leeds.

QPR and Reading face off at Loftus Road and West Ham welcome Wigan in the two remaining all Premier League encounters.

Martin O'Neill's Sunderland head to MK Dons with Southampton hosting their former manager Dave Jones as he returns to St Mary's with new club Sheffield Wednesday.

Norwich are at home to Doncaster while Swansea travel to Crawley, and Swindon's reward for ousting Stoke is a home tie against Burnley.

Middlesbrough venture to Deepdale to face Preston with Bradford taking on Burton in the only match involving two fourth tier clubs.
